Cultivate was founded by Kolby Nance, M.A licensed therapist and private-practice owner. As a practitioner, there was a unique understanding of the therapeutic industry and specifically what client’s valued. Kolby recognized massive problems with outdated industry practices and seemingly confounding realities between cultural awareness and client experience. During a period of unrivaled demand and months long waitlists, competent therapists had availability and ‘down time’ in their schedules. Simultaneously, employers began to offer more robust mental and emotional wellness services as a benefit to their employees. However, small business couldn’t afford these services. Cultivate is seeking to solve the problem of inefficient avenues to connect competent clinicians to client’s seeking care by offering a direct, practical, and relationship driven employee wellness benefit.
Large Tech companies have recognized this need as well. They are providing some cutting edge technologies and processes in trying to meet the need of mental and emotional wellness in the workplace. However, their services are expensive and target large corporations in order to cover significant overhead costs and estimated service hours. We are practitioners who know what works and what to provide in order to meet the needs of your team efficiently and effectively. This is why we created Cultivate.
There are compelling statistics that tell the story of why this is important.
On average it takes a seeking client approximately 3 weeks to establish an appointment with a therapist/care provider. For children’s services that lead time can easily triple. Cultivate will place a seeking client within 5 days to a local care-provider offering in-person or telehealth services.
Evidence-based information states that client’s will begin to feel better and more positive after taking an initial step in reaching out for help. (We want that to be as easy as possible)
On average it takes a person nearly 2 years from first being prompt, whether by disturbing symptoms or at the recommendation of a friend, to reach out and search for a care provider.
You can provide this amazing and practical service to your organization. Your team will feel cared for by a substantive service and empathetic guide rather than a disengaged representative or depersonalized tech savvy self-survey. EAP programs have a track record of horrific customer service and cutting edge mental health benefits providers are priced too high. We have developed a model that seeks user utilization, delivers a highly personalized service, while maintaining a low cost to your organization.
